Daily Writing Update - August 1

Now that Camp NaNoWriMo is over, I'm going back to a more manageable writing goal for every day: 500 words. I still want to write every day, but with a regular job and a life, doing the larger numbers is only something that can work sometimes. I put in 825 words on August 1, so still above the goal.

Perhaps the best new development is that, without the goal of writing 1,600 words every day, I have more time to work on the other writing and editing jobs on my plate, including getting started on another short story to go out as a bonus to readers.
